Leadership & Team Growth
Leadership & team growth
I don't just run the channel.
I run the plan and the people.
Ten years of progression: individual contributor → team lead → strategist → fractional CMO. Today I set GTM strategy and supervise specialists across social, content and design — while still building the SEO, GEO and analytics systems underneath.
The arc
How the leadership was earned.
01 · Individual contributor
2016 — 2020
Learned the craft with my hands on every lever.
Social, content, community, paid and reporting for F&B, medical and consumer brands. Grew follower bases ~200% YoY, then moved into deep-tech and delivered a 250% organic traffic lift and a 100/100 technical SEO score. Nothing delegated — every result was executed personally.
02 · Team lead
2021 — 2022
Started owning people, not just channels.
At Corporatica I managed and mentored a cross-functional marketing team of 4 direct reports — 2 content/SEO specialists, 1 social media specialist and 1 designer — and aligned their roadmaps with business growth objectives. Directed a website migration and redesign end-to-end, coordinating design, dev and content under one plan.
03 · Strategist
2022 — present
Set the strategy the team executes.
At Evolvice GmbH I own marketing strategy and GTM planning, directly supervising 4 direct reports across social media, content writing and design. I define audit cadence, keyword-clustering priorities and the measurement standard (GA4 · GTM · Looker Studio) that executives use for revenue decisions — instead of executing tactics alone.
04 · Fractional CMO
Ongoing
Rent the leadership, not the headcount.
Independently, I act as fractional CMO for B2B SaaS, luxury and enterprise clients across MENA, EU and the USA — setting the plan, briefing and reviewing in-house teams or agencies, and reporting pipeline to founders and boards. Same accountability as a full-time CMO, scoped to the stage of the business.
What I lead
Six responsibilities that sit above the channels.
GTM & strategy
Positioning, ICP, channel mix, budget allocation and the quarterly plan the team executes against.
Team supervision
Direct oversight of social media, content writing and design specialists — briefs, standards, review and feedback loops.
Mentoring
Coaching specialists into owners: analytics literacy, prioritisation, and defending work with data instead of taste.
Measurement ownership
GA4, GTM and Looker Studio frameworks executives rely on — one number set, one weekly decision cadence.
Cross-functional alignment
Marketing ↔ sales ↔ product ↔ dev: shared definitions of MQL/SQL, joint roadmaps, no hand-off gaps.
Stakeholder reporting
Forecasts, growth roadmaps and performance insights presented directly to executives and founders.
Budget & brand ownership
CMO-level scope: owning the marketing budget end to end (media, tooling, freelancers and agency partners), setting brand positioning and messaging architecture, and running the full marketing function — strategy, team, channels and reporting — rather than a single SEO or paid workstream.
Growth, not just search
Results with
no extra budget.
The strategy work that doesn't show up in a rankings report — persona rebuilds, journey mapping, funnel repair and testing programmes that moved revenue on a flat spend line.
2×
Lead generation, year over year
0% increase in ad spend — gains came from persona targeting, funnel repair and channel reallocation, not budget.
2×
Total sales revenue
Buyer personas and journey maps rebuilt around behavioural data, then wired into messaging, offers and lifecycle flows.
+75%
Conversion rate in 6 months
Static budget. Structured A/B testing programme run across landing pages, offers and funnel steps.
−70%
Manual reporting time
Proprietary dashboards replaced hand-built decks so the team spent its hours on decisions, not slides.
Team structure, in specifics
Exactly who I've led, and how.
Team-leadership claims are usually vague, so here is the detail: employer, dates, headcount, the seniority mix and the operating cadence. The employers below are named and publicly checkable on LinkedIn.

Consulting delivers a specific outcome — an audit, a GEO programme, a paid restructure. Leadership means owning the plan and the people: setting GTM strategy, briefing and reviewing specialists, defining the measurement standard, and reporting pipeline to executives. Most engagements combine both, which is what a fractional CMO retainer is.
Yes. Documented non-search results include doubling lead generation year over year with 0% increase in ad spend, doubling total sales revenue through buyer-persona and journey-mapping work, a 75% conversion-rate lift in six months on a static budget, and a $0.32 record-low CPI across MENA and Africa.
Through a weekly decision cadence rather than status meetings: each specialist owns a metric, brings the data behind it, and leaves with one change to ship. Coaching focuses on analytics literacy, prioritisation and defending work with evidence — so the team keeps performing after the engagement ends.
